ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCE (AIIMS) 2013 ENTRANCE EXAM

AIIMS, a pioneer institute in providing education in medical field in India for a long time. This institute is set up by the act of the parliament. The quality of education provided in this institute is recognised worldwide.

The larger number candidates nearly more than 65,000 students are attending this exam. The available seats in AIIMS is only 70, you can imagine the stiff competition among students to get admission in this prestigious institute.

The candidates must be of 17 years of age to take up this exam. The students who are appearing in final examination of 12^th standard are eligible to write this exam. The students who passed 12^th standard or any other equivalent examination with science and biology as their streams having minimum aggregate marks as 60% (50% for SC/ST candidates) in biology, physics, chemistry and English subjects.

The application for entrance exam will be available in the month of January in the branches of state bank of India throughout the country. The for prospectus cum application fee is Rs.1050/- The applications can also be availed by sending a written request and demand draft of Rs.1050/-(Rs.850/- for ST/SC Candidates) in favour of Accounts officer, AIIMS, Delhi.

The candidates can download the application online by logging into www.aiimsexams.org and fill the applications as per the norms. The application fee can be paid either through State bank Challan (Rs.25/- as or applicable) or through visa and master card, debit card (2.5% of transaction amount).

The applications can be availed from the mid of February. The last date for availing applications will be in the mid of March for both online & offline mode.

The exam is objective type with 200 questions. The split up of questions is given below:

Physics - 60 questions
Chemistry – 60 questions
Biology – 60 questions
General knowledge - 60 questions

sir maine 2012 me 12th pass kiya tha or taiyari puri nhi hone ke karn maine aiims entrance nhi de paya tha . sir mai janna chahta hu ki mai kitni bar aiims ke liye apply kar sakta hun. or mujhe kitna chance ab milega jab maine 2012 me intermeiate pass kiya hai to. please sujest me.
