AIPMT 2016 Application Form, Exam Dates, Online, Syllabus


This exam is conducted across country with an objective to admit candidates in various dental & medical colleges in India run by Union Government of India, state government & other local authorities. With the help of this exam student are admitted in various MBBS & DBS institutes throughout the country except Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

The central board of secondary examination (CBSE) conducts this examination. In order to take up this examination the candidates must attain 17 years of age & not more than 25 years of age. In case of SC/ST candidates there is a relaxation of 5 years.

The candidate must completed 12th standard with minimum of 50% in physics, chemistry, Biology & English for general category & 45% for SC/ST candidates. The applicants appearing for the final examination of 12th standard are also eligible to take up this examination.

The applications can be available from November month till December. The last date of receipt of application will be in the month of January. Generally preliminary examination will be conducted in the month of April & final exam will be held in the month of May.

The applications are available in various Canara Bank branches. The filled applications should reach CBSE, along with a demand draft of Rs.800/- for general category & Rs.450/- for SC/ST applicants. The duration of the preliminary exam is 3 hours for attending 200 objective type questions. The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

The qualified candidates from the preliminary exam will be attending final exam which consists of 2 papers namely paper 1 & Paper. The final exam is non objective type & answer books will be provided to the students .The duration for each paper is 2 hours. The paper 1 consists of questions from Physics & Chemistry. The Paper 2 consists of Biology (Botany & Zoology).
