Central Institute Of Plastic Engineering Technology Joint Entrance Exam (CIPET JEE 2016 2017)

The CIPET conducts this exam to admit dynamic students in the courses like

  • B.Tech (plastic engineering technology)
  • Diploma
  • PG
  • Doctoral courses in plastic engineering technology

In India only very few colleges offer engineering program in plastic, therefore there is stiff competition among students to crack this exam and get admission in this college.


The applicant must complete their higher secondary with minimum 60 % with PCM as their subjects.

The upper age limit restriction is 21 years. The applicant who is waiting for their higher secondary examination results can also take up this exam.


The notifications will be given in the first week of May.

The applications can be availed from the month of June from institute office and though institute website.

The last date for receipt fob filled applications will be second week of June. The exam will be conducted in the first week of July.


The number of questions asked in the examination is 100 which are multiple choice objective questions that have to be completed within duration of 120 minutes.

The questions are asked from the subjects like physics, mathematics, general knowledge and chemistry.

The admission is purely based upon the how the candidate performs in the entrance exam.
