CTET 2013 Eligibility Criteria

CTET Eligibility

Central Teacher Eligibility Test is for teaching students for various classes. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Eligibility for class I-V: Primary Stage

  • A pass in secondary education (or its equivalent) with 50% marks or candidate appearing in final year of diploma in Elementary Education or 4 year of bachelor of elementary education or diploma in education.

Or

  • Candidate graduated or appearing in final year of diploma in Elementary education.

Eligibility for class VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

  • A pass or appearing in B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Ed with minimum of 50% of marks.
  • A pass in secondary education (or its equivalent) with 50% marks or students appearing in final year of diploma in Elementary education or 4 year of bachelor of elementary education or diploma in education.

Note:

  • A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for the candidate in reserved category.
  • A candidate with D.Ed or B.Ed should undergo training for 6 months programme in elementary education.

    hi, I am a commerce graduate and appearing in B.ed 2013. So I want to know that if I m eligible for CTET or not.

    have passed my BA english Honours (54.777%)from Manipur University and pursuing MA in English from Sikkim Manipal ?m i elligible for CTET ?When will be the next ctet for 2013?pliz alert me on 09402004997.I m waiting

    Sir, i am 12th pass with 56% mark, i have done 2yrs diploma course in nptt & i also have diploma of ecce from nios .can i give ctet exam?
