CUCET 2016 Application Form, Exam Dates, Preparation, Online, Syllabus, Results, Eligibility


This is entrance exam is different from other entrance exam. This is due to the fact that all entrance exams are conducted to admit student in concern university or concern colleges, but this exam is conducted to admit students in Undergraduate & postgraduate courses in central universities namely Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Karnataka universities.

Since it is a entrance exam for 6 universities candidates has numerous choices for them to select the UG & PG courses like M.A  in English, history, , Geography, Economics, M.Com, M.Tech in Computer science, etc.

The  eligibility criteria for UG is that the candidates must completed 12th standard with minimum 50% marks in case of general category & 45% marks in case of  SC/ST candidates. Regarding PG Courses the applicant must be a graduate with minimum 50% marks in case of  general category & 45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates.

The students who are appearing for the final examinations in both 12th standard and UG degree are eligible to take up this exam. Kindly note that the eligibility criteria will vary according to the university, so verify with Concern University before availing the applications.

The applications will be issued in the month of May. The applications can be obtained by sending request to CUCET. The cost of application is Rs.300/- in case of general category & Rs.200/- in case of SC/ST candidates. The fees can be remitted in form of demand draft in favour of “Co-ordinator, CUCET, central university of Karnataka”, payable at Gulbarga. The applicants can avail application online by logging into

The students can take maximum of 2 programs per applications. The additional cost of Rs.200/- for general category & Rs.100/- for SC/ST has to be remitted if the applicant wishes to take more than 2 programs. The exam commences in June.

The examination is divided into 3 parts namely Part 1, 2 & 3 with a duration between 90-120 minutes. The questions will be from topics to check basic understanding of the applicant’s communication skill & analytical ability of the applicant.
