DELHI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING COMBINED ENTRANCE EXAM (DCE CEE) 2016-2017
The University of Delhi organizes this exam exclusively for residents of Delhi to get admission in Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) & Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT).
The Delhi University has well a reputation in providing education.
The NRI and non residents of Delhi are also eligible to write this exam. The reservations of seats for residents of Delhi is 85% while for others it is 15%.
The eligibility criteria is that the candidate must be minimum of 17 years of age not more than 25 years of age.
There is a relaxation in age criteria for SC/ST candidates. Moreover the candidate must complete their higher secondary with minimum 60% marks with PCM as their subjects.
The applications will be issued from March till April. The examination will be taking place in May and the examination will be conducted in Delhi only.
The application form can be downloaded from the link www.dce.ac.in and it can also be obtained by sending a request to University along with demand draft through post.
The examination consists of 180 multiple choice objective questions that have to be completed within duration of 180 minutes.
The questions will be asked from the subjects Physics, Chemistry and biology. The questions will be asked from CBSE higher secondary syllabus.
For each subjects 60 questions will be asked in the examination.
For every correct answer 4 marks will be awarded and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be reduced under the concept of negative marking.
