The Andhra Pradesh state council of higher education (APSCHE) organize this exam to identify aspiring candidates for B.ed courses offered various colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

The applications will be availed from March in various E-seva centres in A.P. The applications are available in main branches of Andhra Bank across A.P.

The applications can also be purchased by sending request through post along with demand draft for Rs.150/- in the favour of “Secretary, APSCHE”, payable at Hyderabad.

The last date for submitting filled application will be in April.

The applications are also availed through online by logging into www.osmania.ac.in or www.edcet2011.com.The exam will commences in June.

The application must be a graduate from field like B.A/ B.Sc (Home Science)/B.Com, etc with minimum 50% marks in case of general category & 40% for SC/ST candidates in order to be eligible to attend this entrance exam. The final year students can also appear for this exam.

The examination consists of 150 multiple choice objective questions that have to be completed within 2 hours duration.

The examination is divided into 3 parts namely

  • Part A consists General English for 25 marks,
  • Part B consists of General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude for 25 marks,
  • Part C consists Optional subject for 100 marks.
