Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) 2015 Entrance Exam
This exam is organized by Faculty of management studies to admit aspiring graduates in part time & full time management courses available in their institute. This institute is known for its excellence in providing education in management discipline.
The applicant must be a graduate to write this exam.
The applicant appearing for the final year examination of their UG is also eligible to take up this exam.
The minimum % of marks varies according to their UG course.
Social Science, Arts and Commerce graduates – 50%
Science graduates – 55%
Mathematics or Statistics graduates – 60%
Engineering graduates / Medical graduates – 60%
AVAIL OF APPLICATIONS:
The applications can be availed only through online from the first week of September on website www.fms.edu.
The application cost is Rs.700/- for general category & Rs.200/- for SC/ST category.
The last date to avail the application form will be on last week on second week of October. The examination will be held on first week of December (Full time) and last week of January (Part time) in following places:
Ahmedabad, Pune, Kanpur, Nagpur, Mangalore, Mumbai, Jammu, Guwahati, Delhi, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Jaipur, Patna, Chennai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, Chandigarh, Kochi, Amritsar, Bangalore, Baroda, Bhopal, Roorkee.
PATTERN OF EXAMINATION:
Only the eligible candidates will be called for written exam.
The exam consists of 200 objective type of questions.
The duration of the examination will be 120 minutes.
Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks per question.
The written exam checks the knowledge of applicants in the following fields
English comprehension – 50 questions
Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning – 50 questions
Verbal ability – 50 questions
Quantitative ability- 50 questions
The shortlisted candidates will be invited for Group discussion / ex – tempore and personal interview.
The candidates will be admitted based on their overall performance.
