Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Exam (IMU CET 2016) Exam
As the name suggests this exam is organized by Indian maritime university (IMU) to admit potential students in the field of maritime engineering courses offered by the university.
The applicant must complete their 12th standard with minimum 55% of marks in PCM.
The students who are waiting for their 12th results can also apply for this exam. The upper age limit for applicant is 25 years of age.
The applicant must have studied English as their subject in the higher secondary education.
AVAIL OF APPLICATION:
The applications can be requested through post by sending a demand draft along with the request letter.
The application cost is Rs.800/- in case of general category candidates and Rs.450/- for SC/ST candidates.
The last date for receipt of filled applications will be on last week of May.
The exam will be conducted in the third week of May tentatively. The notifications regarding the examination will be notified in the website www.imu.tn.nic.in.
The examination will be held across all important cities in India.
The examination consists of multiple choice objective questions that have to complete within duration of 120 minutes.
The medium of instruction is English. The questions will be asked from physic, chemistry, English and mathematics.
The students are admitted based upon their performance in the entrance exam.
