JOINT ENTRANCE TEST (JET) 2015
The Punjab state board of technical education & Industrial training is the organizer for this exam to identify candidates and to admit them in 3 years diploma courses in polytechnic colleges in and around Punjab and Chandigarh.
The applications will be issued from April in branches of Punjab National bank / HDFC Bank. The examination fee of Rs.270/- inclusive handling charges has to be remitted in the form of demand draft in favor of “secretary, Punjab state board of technical education & Industrial training”, payable at Chandigarh on or before May. Kindly note the application fee is not included in the examination fee which has to be paid while availing the applications.
The students who have cleared their 10th standard can wrote this exam and students appearing in final exam can also apply. The candidates can directly enter 2nd year engineering courses as lateral entry after finishing their 3 years diploma courses.
The total questions asked in the examination will be 200 questions asked from the subjects like English (25 questions), Mathematics (50 questions), Chemistry (50 questions), Physics (50 questions), and Aptitude (25 questions). 25% of mark will be reduced for every wrong answer under negative marking concept. In order to clear the exam the applicants should be thorough in 9th and 10th standard syllabus.
