NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (NIT) 2013-2014

The National institute of technology, earlier known as Regional engineering colleges in the organizer of this exam to admit students in their 20 colleges across India. This exam is based on All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE).

The candidates who are going appear in final examination of 12^th standard are eligible to write this exam. The students who have passed 12^th standard and secured aggregate 50% marks in biology, Physics, Mathematics, Computer science and chemistry or its equivalent examination are also eligible to take up the exam.

The applicants who adopted science or computer science stream in their 12^th standard are also eligible to take up the exam. The candidates can avail AIEEE exam only for 3 consecutive years after they completed their 12^th standard.

The students who are enrolling their name in AIEEE exam is directly eligible to write this exam because as such there is no spate registration process is not required for this exam.

The examination pattern is also similar to the pattern of AIEEE exam. The questions will be asked from 11 & 12th standard syllabus covering the Physics, Chemistry and mathematics. The duration of the examination is 180 minutes and 1/4^th of mark will be reduced as negative marking hours. For B.Tech the Physics & Mathematics are compulsory subjects. The subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, and Bio-Technology & Computer science are optional subjects. For B.Arch the questions from the subject drawing, aptitude & mathematics will be asked in the examination.

i……. i have applied for AIEEE2012 nd i m confident that i must got Qualify…….but i also want to apply for nit……..so i want to know how to apply for nit…is any additional process for nit……..plz rply me must all abt nit…..

I had a compartment in maths this year, so if i pass this compartment exam in the upcoming examination date, will i be able to apply for NIT in 2012??????????
