Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT) 2016
CSAT exam is carried out to identify dynamic and potential people who are fit for high level designation such as IAS, IPS. IAS is the dream designation for every Indians.
This is due to the fact this designation can’t be attained easily. More over people have high respect for IAS.
They are considered s the highest post attained by an Indian in terms of government service.
The examination is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) which is the organizing body.
The applicant must be an Indian and completed their bachelor degree. They must be physically and mental fit as per the norms of UPSC.
AVAIL OF APPLICATION:
The notifications will be notified in the leading newspaper published cross India.
The applications are available in offline.
The applications are available in post offices in the month of January.
The last date for receipt of application will be on first week of March.
The examination will be held on 20th may at important cities across India.
Unlike previous years, the current structure gives importance both to aptitude as well as general knowledge.
The examination is divided into two parts namely
Part 1 General awareness (100 marks)
Part 2 Aptitude (100 marks)
Both the paper is given equal weightage.
In paper 1 the knowledge about current affairs, culture and bio diversity of the candidate are tested.
In paper 2 the candidate knowledge in data interpretation inter personal skills, communication skills are tested.
Then the shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview which carries 20 marks.
In personal interview they will be interviewed by group of panel members to check the communication and interpersonal skills of the candidates.
Then the final merit list will be displayed by the UPSC.
